HUD’s Resident Service and Satisfaction Survey
HUD needs to hear from public housing residents
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) needs your feedback. The Resident Service and Satisfaction Survey is one of the ways that HUD’s Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) will evaluate your housing agency’s performance through the Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS). The survey measures your satisfaction with your living conditions as well as with your housing authority. Households are randomly selected by computer to receive the surveys. If you are selected, please take the time to complete it. Resident participation is essential to the survey’s success, and it is one of the best ways for you to let HUD know how you feel about your housing conditions as well as your housing authority staff. Surveys will be mailed to selected residents late May through early June of 2008. Those selected will need to complete and mail the surveys back by the date listed on the survey. If you receive a survey, it is very important that you complete and return it to the address given, by the specified deadline. DO NOT send to your housing authority’s address, as the survey will not be counted.
