Moving to Work - Partners
The FCRHA THRIVE Initiative and application for designation as an MTW agency is a collaborative effort with our community partners. The goal of this collaborative effort is to foster the greatest level of self-sufficiency possible for our residents. Many of the county’s housing services and programs rely on the assistance of faith-based organizations, local nonprofits and other contributors, and the FCRHA values the support of these partners as it pursues this new initiative.
These partners provide assistance in a variety of ways. Some support the THRIVE Initiative by providing direct services to many Fairfax County residents. Several community members are also a part of a working advisory committee that guides the FCRHA as it pursues MTW status and other THRIVE initiatives.
These partners will become even more integral to the FCRHA’s success should the agency receive the MTW designation. As housing caseworkers find more time to assist residents with their self-sufficiency needs, residents will be linked to many of our community’s nonprofits to help them reach their goals.
If your organization would like to express your support for the FCRHA’s MTW application, or would like to learn more about providing housing programs and services to FCRHA program participants, please email mtw@fairfaxcounty.gov.
