The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) has closed the Housing Choice Voucher (formerly Section 8) Program waiting list as of March 1, 2007 until further notice. The program serves Fairfax County, City of Fairfax; City of Falls Church; and the Towns of Herndon, Vienna and Clifton. Applications for the Fairfax County Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) will not be processed by the FCRHA on or after March 1, 2007. Applications will continue to be accepted for the waiting lists for Public Housing, Fairfax County Rental Program and Senior Housing. Applicants are encouraged to apply for these programs.
