Offers a variety of parenting education and involvement to schools, families, parent and community groups, agencies and businesses. Fees are required; classes include:

    • Co-Parenting: Two Parents,Two Homes (classes for divorcing couples); English and Spanish.
    • Strengthening Your Parenting Skills (classes for maintaining or regaining custody); English only.
    • Additional classes related to single parenting and blended families; English only.
    • Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) classes; English only.
  • General parenting classes:call 703-277-2625
    • Single session classes on discipline, communication, conflict resolution, parenting styles and temperament; English only.

  • Fulfills the requirements of the Virginia Code requiring divorcing parents with minor children to attend a parent education seminar before their court appearance.

Provides Transparenting/COPE class to educate separating/divorcing parents about the effects on children.

  • Transparenting/COPE classes for divorcing parents offered. Class meets the Supreme Court of Virginia guidelines. Call 703-219-2198 (English) or 703-219-2199 (Spanish)
  • Class locations in Fairfax County, Springfield and Prince William County
  • Fee charged for programs

  • An 8-week Anger Management Program is also available.
