"Give Care, Take Care: Learning to Laugh in Spite of It All"
Fairfax County's Fifth Annual Caregiver Seminar
"Give Care, Take Care" is the theme of Fairfax County's Fifth Annual Caregiver Seminar and Information Resource Fair to be held on Friday, October 26, 2007. The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Springfield Golf and Country Club, 8301 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield, VA 22152.
Author and educator, Jane McKeel, will share important advice gleaned from her personal experience as a care giver. Sue Stone, outreach coordinator for Alzheimer's Family Day Care, will deliver a humorous presentation on the lighter side of care giving. Several county and private agency representatives will be on hand to discuss resources and demonstrate products at the Information Resource Fair.
The event, which includes a snack and buffet lunch, costs $10. Limited scholarships for attendees and assistance with respite care are available upon request.

Checks must be made payable to Fairfax AAA Caregiver Day and sent to: Fairfax Area Agency on Aging, Caregiver Day, 12011 Government Center Parkway, Suite 708, Fairfax, VA 22035. RSVP and payment must be received by October 12, 2007.
