Classes are open only to law enforcement personnel unless otherwise noted on the class schedule.The Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy is committed to providing the highest quality training to:
- Promote a safe and secure environment, free from crime and the fear of crimes;
- Maintain order and provide for the safe and expeditious enforcement of laws; and
- Practice our core values of integrity, respect, service and fairness.
In-service training is available to Fairfax County Police, Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Vienna Police, and Town of Herndon Police. Other law enforcement agencies may register for classes when space is available but no more than 30 days in advance of the requested class.

Partner agencies include the Northern Virginia
Criminal Justice Training Academy and the Prince William County Criminal
Justice Academy.
