All visitors must make an appointment by phone or e-mail to visit an inmate.
The county jail has been in business since 1802.
The Adult Detention Center (ADC) is unique in the nation because it
provides all four forms of jail housing: single cell, linear, podular and
direct supervision.
SERT may be activitated for high risk cell extractions; hostage, riot,
and barricade situations; transport of high-risk prisoners; and high-risk
trials.
