TextAdult Detention Center-Visiting Policy
Visiting days are Saturday and Sunday. Inmates are allowed ONE visit per weekend. Visitors MUST BE PRESENT 30 minutes prior to their scheduled visit. Please review all personal visiting rules before you schedule a visit. There are no exceptions to the dates and times listed below.
ONLINE SCHEDULING
The deadline to schedule your visit for the upcoming weekend is 3:30 p.m. on THURSDAY unless otherwise noted above or on the web form. Requests for the following weekend will not be accepted until after 3 p.m. on Friday. Online scheduling is fast and easy. Your request will be approved or denied via email, usually within two business days. If you use the online scheduling form, do NOT come to the Adult Detention Center unless you receive an emailed confirmation approving your visit.
TELEPHONE SCHEDULING
If you do not have access to email, you may schedule your visit by calling the Sheriff’s Office at 703-246-3430, Monday through Friday, between 9 - 11 a.m. The phone line is often busy, but every attempt will be made to answer your call during those two hours. You will NOT receive written confirmation for telephone scheduling.
WALK-IN SCHEDULING
A third option is to schedule your visit in person. Walk-in scheduling is available at the Adult Detention Center's 1st floor (not the ground floor) information booth Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. You will NOT receive written confirmation for walk-in scheduling.
