All deputy sheriff positions are filled, so the Sheriff's Office is not hiring at this time. We are not accepting applications nor maintaining any applications on file; therefore, please do not submit an application until this notice is removed.
Entry Level Pay starts at $47,196.03.
Additional pay may be given based on prior military, education and law enforcement experience. This will be handled on a case by case basis. In addition, pay may increase each year with a Cost of Living Allowance (C.O.L.A.) and annual increments.
After the academy and during your years of service with the Sheriff's Office, you may receive additional pay through promotion or service. Please see below for the rank and pay increment range:
- Deputy Sheriff I $47,196.03 - $76,878.26*
- Private First Class $49,353.20 - $80,393.04*
- Master Deputy Sheriff $51,707.34 - $84,228.77*
- Sergeant $54,292.78 - $88,440.14*
- 2nd Lieutenant $57,006.56 - $92,858.48*
*Range of pay for each rank indicated above is an estimate.
