Sheriff’s Office Announces New Volunteer Program
The Fairfax County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce a new volunteer program called VISOR - Volunteers in Sheriff's Office Relations. VISOR gives residents an opportunity to serve in an unpaid, non-uniformed position to augment Sheriff's Office personnel. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an outstanding public service organization that works in partnership with the community to enhance the quality of life for all Fairfax County residents. To become a member of the VISOR program, applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Virginia operator's license
- Be in good physical condition
- Successfully pass a thorough background investigation
