Twenty Deputy Sheriffs to Graduate

Twenty deputy sheriff recruits will graduate the 53^rd session of the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy on Friday, February 29 at 7 p. m. The ceremony will be held at Westfield High School located at 4700 Stonecroft Boulevard, Chantilly, Virginia 20151.

The Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for deputy sheriff and lateral transfer positions. The Sheriff’s Office offers a wide variety of exciting career opportunities in the field of criminal justice. With more than 500 sworn deputy sheriffs, Fairfax is the largest Sheriff’s Office in Virginia and among the largest in the country. Upon graduation, each deputy sheriff is a certified law enforcement officer and receives additional certification in jail security, court security and civil process.
