Report to the Adult Detention Center lobby (10520 Judicial Drive in Fairfax) this FRIDAY, PRIOR TO 6:00 P.M., unless otherwise specified by the judge, to begin your sentence. Any tardiness will not be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly. Do not report under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You may be required to take a blood, breath, or urine test. You will be released on Sunday at midnight and be credited with three (3) days of incarceration. You will continue this routine (report on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. and be released at midnight Sunday) until you complete your sentence. You are to complete your sentence on consecutive weekends.
Items that you must bring
- Limited undergarments (2 pair underwear, 2 t-shirts, 2 pair socks)
- Rain gear (rain coat, rain pants, no umbrellas)
- Suitable work clothing (jeans, work boots, etc.)
- Proper sleepwear
- Cash (no more than $20, no credit cards or phone cards)
- Medication approved by Sheriff’s Office Medical Staff only
Any other items that you bring, not specifically on the above list, will be confiscated and possibly destroyed. Read the list carefully, and bring only those items listed above.
You will be required to perform manual labor for eight (8) hours on each Saturday and eight (8) hours on each Sunday. If you have a specific medical condition that would prohibit you from working, please bring a letter from your doctor stating such condition, and your status will be evaluated by staff.
While working in the community, you will not be allowed to wear shorts, halter tops, sleeveless shirts, or shirts with obscene language/pictures. Gang paraphernalia or gang style clothing, to include bandanas or any other items deemed gang-related, is strictly prohibited. Tattoos must be covered.
