Stringfellow Road Park and Ride Expansion Project Community Meeting to be held May 22
A meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Rocky Run Middle School, located at 4400 Stringfellow Road in Chantilly, to provide information on the upcoming project to expand the Stringfellow Road Park and Ride Lot. The improvements include an expansion of the existing Park and Ride lot by 300 spaces, the addition of three new bus bays, and a new 12,000-square-foot transit center building.

"Pardon Our Dust" Meeting for Stringfellow Road Widening
Project
The Virginia Department of Transportation hosted a community
meeting on Wednesday, April 3 to discuss the plans and impacts
associated with the project to widen Stringfellow Road from two to
four lanes between Fair Lakes Boulevard and Route 50. Visit

Fairfax County Parkway Town Hall Meeting
On October 23, 2012, in conjunction with the Springfield District Council, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation, Supervisor Herrity hosted a Town Hall meeting to discuss the past and future of the Parkway. VDOT Safety Study Completed Regarding Median Crossover Crashes on the Fairfax County Parkway and Franconia-Springfield Parkway
The study encompassed the length of the roadway between Route 7 and Interstate 95 (excluding the section in the vicinity of the Fair Lakes Parkway intersection that is under construction).
