Transforming Tysons Open House

The public was invited to attend an open house on on-going Tysons planning and implementation activities following the adoption of a new Comprehensive Plan last year. Representatives from Fairfax County agencies provided project updates and answered questions. Rezoning applicants who have submitted plans to redevelop in line with the new vision for Tysons were also available to present their proposals and answer questions.
The open house participants included:
- Development applicants in Tysons, including The Georgelas Group, CARS, JBG Rosenfeld Retail, NV Commercial/Clyde’s, SAIC/Dittmar, Capital One, MITRE, Cityline Partners, and LCOR
- The Tysons Partnership

Department of Transportation will provide updates on a number of
ongoing studies including:
- Dulles Toll Road Ramp Study
- Monitoring
- TMSAMS (Tysons Metrorail Station Access Management Study)
- Tysons Bicycle Master Plan
- Tysons Grid and Circulator Studies
- Jones Branch Connector Study
- Update on public facility and parks planning
- Update on urban design guidelines for Tysons
