Tysons Training Opportunity - September 26, 2013
Due to an overwhelming response to August's Tysons Training, an additional session will be held Thursday, September 26, to update the public, development community, and county staff about the new PTC District (Planned Tysons Corner Urban District), recent Tysons development and lessons already learned about implementation. If you attended the August session, please note that this session is being repeated to accommodate additional participants. Cathy Lewis of the Department of Planning and Zoning, Tracy Strunk of the Office of Community Revitalization, and William Marsh of the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, will facilitate the session. Topics will include the history of Tysons design expectations, Tysons-related Plan and Zoning amendments with a focus on the features of the new PTC District, and infrastructure related challenges to incorporating public facilities, streetscape and stormwater.
Slides from the August Tysons Training can be found here.
The training will be held 10 a.m. – Noon, in Room 106 of the Herrity Building, 12055 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA. 22035. Because seating is limited, please contact Deloris Harris or Carla Moran at 703-324-1780, TTY 711, to reserve a seat, and for more information or reasonable accommodations.
