Use this form to report a property believed to be vacant within Fairfax County. Fairfax County may check these properties periodically to make sure they are safe and properly maintained according to minimum county regulations. The following issues may be signs of vacant properties:
Unoccupied house
Broken windows
Doors open or house otherwise vandalized
Uncut grass
Real estate sign
Legal notices/other documents posted on front door
Piles of trash or old furniture on the street
Furniture appears to have been removed from dwelling
Specific violations can be reported with the
zoning/noise complaint form
