Vendor Internet Portal (VIP)
Notice - Vendor Internet Portal (VIP) Closure
On July 28, 2017, Fairfax County will officially close the Vendor Internet Portal (VIP). The Department of Procurement and Material Management remains committed to serving the vendor community in providing solicitation and contract information and will continue to do so through Virginia’s eProcurement Portal (eVA).
To better serve our vendors, Fairfax County has streamlined the registration process. Vendors must now only register with Virginia’s eProcurement Portal (eVA) to conduct business with the county. This gives users access to many Virginia jurisdiction buyers from one profile and will provide vendors with necessary information all in one place. The Vendor Internet Portal (VIP) will no longer be used. Those previously registered only with VIP will need to create an account with eVA.
If you have any further questions regarding the closure of the Fairfax Vendor Internet Portal (VIP) please contact us at: VendorHelpSelfService@fairfaxcounty.gov
Fairfax County Government and Fairfax County Public Schools have launched the Fairfax Vendor Internet Portal (VIP). All Vendors are required to register before they can log into the portal and conduct eBusiness with Fairfax County Government (FCG) and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). The Fairfax Vendor Internet Portal (VIP) facilitates electronic procurement and accurate data management.
Functions vendors will be able to perform via the Fairfax VIP:
- Access the portal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (excluding maintenance periods)
- Manage User and Company data
- Manage NIGP product/commodity codes
Please be aware that the Fairfax VIP may be unavailable during regular system maintenance, which occurs every Sunday, 6:00 p.m. – Midnight. Notice of future system outages, outside of the regular maintenance period, will be posted in the VIP.
