This map search function is for the convenience of all users of the Human Services Resource Guide (HSRG). If you are searching for resources for yourself or your family, please be aware that this search may not return all the resources available. To fully ensure you are retrieving all the resources for which you are eligible, please search the full HSRG database and/or call for a FREE consultation with Coordinated Services Planning at 703-222-0880.
Health Care Resources: The health care resources listed on this map are confined to primary care services (free and low-cost medical clinics, access to dental care, etc.) and access to health insurance. For the full range of health care and medical services, please access the HSRG.
Proximity: Some services are available to all county residents but their location may not fall within the search radius you have selected. If you are searching for emergency food assistance, for example, there are pantries that serve large areas of the county that may not be within ½, 1, 2 or 5 miles of your address so you may miss them by relying only on this map search.
Eligibility: Most nonprofit and county service providers have various requirements on who can receive services, including income level, residency, age, etc. It will save your time and theirs if you know in advance that you are eligible to receive services from these organizations.
Click through: Some nonprofits will not accept walk-in clients while others require a referral from a county agency. Be sure to click through to see all service details, including eligibility and contact information.
For the best service: To be sure you are able to access the most comprehensive array of resources for which you’re eligible, please contact Coordinated Services Planning (CSP) on 703-222-0880. The CSP Social Services Specialists are experts at knowing which services are available and providing guidance on how to access them.
