Family Pass provides financial assistance and intensive case management to low income working families with children under age 18. Service Description:
Good Shepherd Housing (GSH)provides affordable housing rentals and limited emergency financial assistance. Beginning in 1974 as an all-volunteer organization, GSH owns 85 condominiums and sublets 28 market rent units, renting them all at an affordable price to low-income working households. Potential residents from low-income, working families living in emergency shelters, substandard housing, or overcrowded housing are encouraged to apply for our rentals. Case management services are available to GSH residents, where staff works with each family to develop an action plan to achieve better career opportunities and stable housing.

Four (3-4 bedroom) townhouses are available as permanent housing for families in which an adult has mental/cognitive disabilities. An assessment must confirm the mental/cognitive disability. Participants must be willing to develop and follow a service plan with the help of an agency case manager with whom they will meet on a weekly basis. Participants must be employed or participating in job training or an education program. Any recommendations for treatment must be followed. While this has some of the components of a transitional housing program, there is no time limit on length of stay; participants may remain in the housing as long as they follow their service plan.
