COUNSELING - DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Comprehensive faith-based counseling and training for survivors of domestic violence to regain their self-worth and sense of identity. Provides domestic abuse prevention and intervention training for the women’s children, ages 2- 12. Also works with teen girls to help them develop healthy relationships and avoid dating violence. Group sessions available. Childcare provided. Trainings scheduled quarterly, serving up to 50 women and 15 children per session for clients from northern VA, DC and MD. Referrals from local domestic abuse centers, local support groups, clinics or counselors, victim-assistance networks and churches.
