COMMUNITY/NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCE CENTER
A collaboration of nonprofits, county services, community service providers, and resident/community leadership, that provides a range of services to Herndon residents. Services include: immigrant legal services, food, budgeting, entrepreneurship for women, healthcare, job readiness, children and youth programs and much more. Partners: Computer CORE, Empowered Women Int'l, Fairfax County, Fairfax County Health Department - Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program, HealthWorks for Northern Virginia Herndon, Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center, Herndon-Reston FISH, Just Neighbors Immigration Legal Services, Literacy Council of Northern Virginia (ESOL classes), Vecinos Unidos

Annual campaign collecting new backpack and schools supplies for distribution to area students in grades K through 12. Applications are accepted beginning late June and supplies are distributed to select partners schools.
