  • Difficult Run Force Main Rehabilitation Project

    • Contract No. - CN16300002
    • Project No. WW-000008-003
    • Engineer – Andy Royse
    • Scope – Rehabilitation of the 5.68-mile, 36-inch Difficult Run Force Main to allow up to 17 million gallons per day of wastewater in Fairfax County to be treated at the County’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. 
    • Anticipated Completion – Fall 2017
    • Contractor – Garney Companies
  • Four Smith and Loveless Pump Station Rehabilitation Project

    • Project No. WW-000001-007 A
    • Engineer - Mike Gallo
    • Scope - Rehabilitation of four Smith and Loveless Pump Stations located at 3890 Fairfax Ridge Road, 10209 Kenbrooke Court, 6526 Heather Brook Court, and 8418A Holly Leaf Drive. The pump station capacities range between 0.4 to 0.6 million gallons per day. The scope of work will include replacement of pumps, sump pumps, controls, HVAC systems, and emergency generators.
    • Anticipated Completion - Winter 2019
    • Contractor - J.S. Haren Company
  • Motor Control Center and Distribution Center Project

    • Project No. WW-000009-002
    • Engineer – Amin Elmubarak
    • Scope – Replacement, refurbishment, and/or modification of electrical distribution centers and motor control centers plant-wide and related work.
    • Anticipated Completion – Spring 2022
    • Contractor – Clark Construction Group 
  • Difficult Run Pump Station Rehabilitation Project

    • Project No. WW-000001-009
    • Engineer – Andy Royse
    • Scope – Rehabilitation of the Difficult Run Pump Station (10 MGD) located at 9950 Colvin Run Road. The four existing pumps and other components are to be replaced.
    • Anticipated Completion – Fall 2017
    • Contractor – Ulliman Schutte Construction
  • Equalization Basins Rehabilitation Project

    • Project No. WW-000016-009
    • Engineer – Mujahid Ali
    • Scope – Rehabilitation includes lining QQ1, minor rehabilitation of QQ2 and QQ3 and associated pump stations, and construction of a floodwall along Pohick Creek.
    • Anticipated Completion – Summer 2018
    • Contractor – Ulliman Schutte
  • Giles Run Pump Station Rehabilitation Project

    • Project No. WW-000001-011
    • Engineer – Colleen Block
    • Scope – Rehabilitation of Giles Run Pump Station to replace existing equipment in need of upgrades, modify control building, and increase design capacity to 2.0 MGD.
    • Anticipated Completion – Summer 2017
    • Contractor – HITT Contracting, Inc.
