EAC Place Led Economics Presentation

During the first week of October, the EAC held four workshops to inform the upcoming discussion on "Place Led Economic Development", which will be the topic of the October 18th meeting. These workshops, open to all EAC members, asked members to

• Consider challenge of creating places where businesses thrive
• Respond to proposed key aspects of Place Led Economic Development
• Identify practices, resources, and opportunities in Fairfax County

The goal of this effort is to refine the county’s approach to creating and maintaining economically competitive communities. 

The four workshops were broken down into the following topics and centered around key strategies of place-led economic development. The goal was to hear ideas that will foster recommendations for enhancing current efforts in the county.
