Fairfax County: Test Track for the Future of Autonomous Vehicles
We're the test track for self-driving cars and connected infrastructure in Virginia. The state’s intelligent roads are all located in Fairfax, and top autonomous vehicle researchers come here to road test their technology.
On May 3, 2017, Fairfax County and Virginia Tech National Capital Region brought togther AV experts, policy makers, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs to:

- Discuss the future impacts
Virginia's smart roads form a loop from I-66, 495, and 95 to U.S. 29 and 50. This automated corridor is where automated and connected cars get road tested in real-world conditions.
