Clean energy is increasingly popular and effective. Renewable, non-polluting energy sources, like solar, help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the long-term viability of our economy.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) 2019 International Energy Outlook predicts a nearly 50% increase in world energy consumption between 2018 and 2050. In the same report, EIA indicates that renewable energy will become the leading source of primary energy consumption by 2050, with consumption increasing by 3% per year over the 32-year period.
