Public Engagement with CECAP

Fairfax County is developing a community-driven plan to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, and we need your help! The Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan (CECAP) is a climate mitigation plan developed by Fairfax County residents and stakeholders.

In late August and early September, the Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination hosted three virtual public meetings via WebEx. Slides for the three online public meetings are available here and on each of the individual meeting pages.

Additional public meetings will be held in February 2021 and again in May 2021. Information on these engagement opportunities and the affiliated public surveys will be made available here as it becomes available.

If you have questions about the public engagement process or would like to assist with CECAP implementation, please email
