Healthy Families Advisory Council

To advise program staff regarding planning, implementation and evaluation of program related activities. The council provides consultation and support to Healthy Families Fairfax (HFF) and Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) by advocating for and advancing these programs’ mission, shared vision, goals and strategic plans.

Number of Seats

Ten (10) to fifteen (15) representative members, with backgrounds and interests in child abuse prevention, early intervention, family support, child health, and outreach, represent Northern Virginia’s diverse community. In addition, the council will have representatives with a complementary mix of skills, strengths, community knowledge, professions and cultural diversity.

Meeting Information
The third Wednesday of February, May, August and November at 8:30 a.m. in the Pennino Building at 12011 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035.
