What is Pathways to Healing?

Pathways to Healing (PTH) provides concerned family and friends with the tools they need to effectively support their loved ones who are using substances, without supporting the addictive behavior. These tools will also help family and friends to better cope with their loved one’s situation and regain their peace of mind.

Who is eligible?
  • Any adult (18 and older) affected by a loved one’s substance use.
  • Participants or their loved ones must reside in Fairfax County.

Pathways to Healing addresses challenges such as:

  1. Self-Care and Self-Rewards.
  2. Healthy Boundaries.
  3. Safety and Support.
  4. Coping with Lapses.
  5. Trust and Forgiveness.
