Discussion: 2014 50+ Community Action Plan Summary and 2020 50+ Action Plan Planning Process
Mike, Cathy Cole, Kay, and Phyllis presented their review of the 50+ Community Survey results, providing data insights and additional questions of interest within each of the 50+ Plan categories. The COA discussed the survey data.

Carolyn provided an overview of the summary report being prepared for the 2014 50+ Community Action Plan. Commissioners will interview 50+ Plan Champions and provide interview responses to Carolyn the last week of August.

Supervisor Herrity has proposed that the Board of Supervisors (BOS) consider a 2020 50+ Action Plan planning process to include four community forums and focus groups this fall so the new plan could be developed and adopted by the newly elected BOS early in 2020. The COA discussed approaches to focus groups and possible plan categories.

Sharron motioned that the meeting be adjourned. Kay seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 3 p.m.
