Social Voting

To expand this constructive dialogue, we have established an IdeaScale campaign to facilitate more interactive dialogue on the study's proposed growth corridors, transit services, connections, and modes previously presented. We invite you to explore our IdeaScale campaign to share your ideas and comments on the CTNS, and to comment and/or vote on the ideas submitted by your colleagues and neighbors. Your ideas and comments will be shared with county officials and planners to help guide the study to reflect the transit needs and desires of all Fairfax County residents and visitors.

Public Outreach

The Fairfax County Department of Transportation held its third round public meeting on the Countywide Transit Network Study in July 2013. Staff presented preliminary recommendations for the High Quality Transit Network concept and described the benefits of the network in helping achieve county goals to connect, grow, and thrive. The study team is currently coordinating with ongoing studies for Richmond Highway, I-66, and Route 7, as well as with other local and regional planning partners, and expects to develop recommendations during summer 2015.

View the presentation and handouts from previous meetings on the Countywide Transit Network Study Resources page.
