Firefighters (off-duty) Sponsor Children's Haircuts

Where:  Charles Houston Recreation Center

Gum Springs Community Center

Fairfax County firefighters will be sponsoring children's haircuts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at several locations in Fairfax and Alexandria, Monday, August 26, through Wednesday, August 28, 2013.

Off-duty firefighters/barbers, the Progressive Firefighters of Fairfax County, Inc., WKYS 93.9 FM, Apple Federal Credit Union, Keith Burns Foundation, and local barbers throughout the community will provide free haircuts for local kids on free or reduced lunch plans in anticipation of the new school year. Through everyone's generous donation of time and barbering skills, these children will receive haircuts at no charge.
