Adult Male Charged in Dumpster Fire

Date:  October 24, 2014

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged, James T. Wilkerson, 53, with setting a dumpster fire, Thursday, October 22, 2014.

The fire occurred October 17, 2014, at the New Horizons Treatment Center, 8247 Gregory Drive, Alexandria, Virginia. He is charged with Virginia Code 18.2-81, burning of personal property greater than $200, and 18.2-86, maliciously setting a fire capable of spreading.

Damage is estimated at $1,500.

Wilkerson is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Facility.
