Man Charged in Setting Townhouse Fire

Date:  February 19, 2014

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged, Eric Donnell Parker, 46, unknown address, with burning or destroying a dwelling house, Virginia Code 18.2-77, and setting fire to woods, fences, grass, or other items capable of spreading fire on land, Virginia Code 18.2-86, Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

The charges stemmed from a townhouse fire in the 7600 block of Northern Oaks Court, in the Springfield area of Fairfax County. Damage to the townhouse was minor. There were no injuries.

Parker is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
