Firefighters Honor Nation’s Fallen (Firefighters Wear Camouflage T-Shirts)

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department

News Release 14-49
Date:  May 20, 2014

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department personnel will honor all who have died in our nation's service, over Memorial Day Weekend, May 23, through May 28, 2014. Firefighters will wear camouflage t-shirts on all operational duty shifts throughout the county.

The t-shirt is simply emblazoned: Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department  "We Will Never Forget." The shirts pay tribute to all those who have fallen and given the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Donations from the Fairfax County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Local 2068, Fairfax County Progressive Firefighters, FiRSTeam, and Liberty Mutual funded the t-shirts.
