Health Permits for Food Establishments

Any establishment that stores, prepares, serves or otherwise provides food for human consumption, and provides such food directly to a member of the public for consumption, is considered to be a "food establishment" and therefore requires a Permit to Operate a Food Establishment from the Health Department. The Fairfax County Health Department issues health permits to food establishments in Fairfax County (including all the towns) and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church.
