COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment Scheduling

People 6 months and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone 5 years and older is eligible for a booster dose, some people are eligible for a second booster dose.

The Fairfax County Health Department will continue to provide vaccinations for all at no charge at county operated clinics. Learn more.

COVID-19 vaccines are available in the Fairfax Health District. Here are ways to find a vaccine:

COVID-19 vaccines are widely available from many providers, including pharmacies, medical providers, hospitals, across the Health District.

Use to search for locations that offer COVID-19 vaccines and then schedule directly with any provider. Some locations may also accept walk-ins.


2Get a COVID-19 vaccine from a Health Department Health Clinic or Pop-Up Vaccine Event.

Health Department Clinic Vaccinations

Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are available at the Fairfax County Government Center and Fairfax County South County Hyland Center vaccine clinics. You can schedule an appointment at a Health Department clinic using CDC’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS).

Walk-in service is also available at the Fairfax County Government Center (12000 Government Center Parkway
Fairfax, VA 22035) and the Hyland South County Government Center (Mt. Vernon District Office, 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309) vaccine clinics:

  • Monday: noon – 5:30 p.m. (South County Government Center only)
  • Tuesday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: noon – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Government Center only)

We encourage you to make an appointment. When you make an appointment and create an account, you can easily manage your appointment and schedule additional doses (as applicable). If you create an account, you will also be able to download a certificate of your vaccination status after you receive your second dose!
