This public hearing is being held to receive comment on the performance of the Fairfax County Consolidated Plan and to receive community input on the County’s housing and community development needs to be addressed in the Fiscal Year 2021 Consolidated Plan One-Year Action Plan. The hearing is open to the public and the Fairfax County Consolidated Community Funding Advisory Committee (CCFAC) is interested in hearing from residents who need, or are receiving, affordable housing and/or other human services assistance; and from local community or faith-based organizations and private enterprises that provide direct services to, and/or advocate for, individuals and families.
During the public hearing, participants will have an opportunity to make presentations and take part in discussions designed to gather information. Participants should be prepared to let the county know:

The Board of Supervisors will approve the final FY 2021 Action Plan and it will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development next year as part of a federal requirement that combines the broad planning requirements of the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990 with the annual grant applications and reporting for HUD-funded programs administered by Fairfax County.
