This public hearing is being held to receive:

  • Community input on the County’s housing and community development needs to be addressed in the Five-Year Consolidated Plan for FY 2022-2026 and One-Year Action Plan for FY 2022

The Fairfax County Consolidated Community Funding Advisory Committee (CCFAC) is interested in hearing from residents who need, or are receiving, affordable housing and/or other human services assistance; and from local community or faith-based organizations and private enterprises that provide direct services to, and/or advocate for, individuals and families.

During the public hearing, participants will have an opportunity to make presentations and take part in discussions designed to gather information including:

  • What are their household’s housing and/or human services needs and how well are those needs being met?
  • What are specific housing and/or human services needs in the area where they live in the County or where their organization is located? What needs are projected to exist in FY 2022-FY 2026 and will the current affordable housing and human services be sufficient to meet those needs?
  • Have they experienced any discrimination in accessing housing or housing-related needs? If so, how?
