CALL TO ORDER

Commission Vice Chair Malik called the Wednesday, December 2, 2020 Commission Meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Approval of AgendaIt was moved by Commissioner Conde and seconded by Commissioner Bell-Krasner that the December 2, 2020 Agenda be approved as amended.  The motion passed by unanimous vote.

Approval of Minutes:  It was moved by Commissioner Salinas and seconded by Commissioner Hudson that the November 18, 2020 Minutes be approved as presented.  The motion passed by unanimous vote.

 

STAFF ISSUES:  Director Saunders updated the Commissioners regarding the October monthly report.  The staff met the balance score card goals for the month.

 

COMMISSION BUSINESS

HRC# 2016078E – Appeal -- It was moved by Commissioner Conde and seconded by Commissioner Salinas that the case be sent back to the staff to interview additional witnesses and add the interviews to the Final Investigative Report (FIR).  Once this is completed the FIR will be provided to the complainant and the Commissioners and the Appeal will be continued.  The motion passed by unanimous vote.

 

COMMUNITY CONCERNS

 

The Commissioners discussed the photos for the Commission website.  Compliance Supervisor Michael Simms researched the Office of Public Affairs (OPA) and having the pictures taken.  Mr. Simms stated that because of OPA’s schedule, the pictures will not be taken until January.  Mr. Simms will coordinate with the photographer for a possible date in January.
