$39,334 to $52,446  (Grade S17)

Assists two branch managers in leading multi-functional branches. Works collaboratively with senior management and administrative staff to promote an atmosphere of quality customer service and administrative excellence in providing centralized services to the department. Performs, processes, coordinates and manages a variety of advanced analytical and customer service duties for the agency such as training, travel, time and attendance, events, facilities management, security, inventory control, parking management, and vehicle services. Demonstrates effective decision-making and problem solving with minimal guidance. Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in the quality of service deliveries. Fosters a collaborative work environment through teamwork and relationship building. Has excellent interpersonal communication skills. Responsibilities entail the use of judgment, initiative, discretion, and independent action.



Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a G.E.D. issued by a state department of education; plus three years of experience providing administrative support.



The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.



Experience providing support for senior management. Proficient computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Web research, and Plateau Administration. Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures. Excellent calendar management skills. Experience creating PowerPoint presentations. Knowledge of the county's PRISM and FOCUS systems; M4 Fleet Management System; Plateau; and Security Electronic Identification System (SEIS). Experience ordering supplies, equipment, materials and allocating office space. Experience making travel arrangements. Demonstrated experience handling a wide range of administrative and senior management support related tasks. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Well organized, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
