MANAGEMENT ANALYST II

Description:

Organizes, coordinates and performs a variety of project coordination and quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as compiling data and producing reports for Board queries and legislative review, benchmarking processes and fees, and conducting customer surveys. Coordinates, organizes, manages, and implements the development, documentation, maintenance, testing, training, implementation, and after action follow-up of the LDS Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), LDS Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan, and related plans. Participates and collaborates with department-level COOP and Emergency Management Team(s). Assists in facilitating and implementing process improvement and strategic planning initiatives. Duties are performed under the general supervision of the LDS Business Process Manager.

 

Minimum
Qualifications:

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in the field related to the assigned functional area; plus two years of professional work experience within the functional area such as human resources, budgeting and financial management, contract administration and business management, statistics, mathematics, or related field.

Requirements:

The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.

 

Preferred
Qualifications:

Experience with coordinating projects. Experience performing quantitative and qualitative analysis. Ability to manage outreach and customer service and communication activities. Emergency management and COOP planning experience. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple programs and projects, solve problems creatively, and complete projects independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Advanced Microsoft knowledge and experience (Word and Excel).
