$27.50 to $36.67/hour  (Grade S25)

Jobshare position; 20 hours per week. Provides individual, group, family, and couples counseling for survivors of sexual assault. Performs assessments and develops treatment plans for providing services, to include crisis interventions for stabilization and short term treatment with an emphasis on intervention and prevention and appropriate referrals for continuing care. Provides case consultation for other service providers. Provides hospital accompaniment as requested by survivors of sexual assault. Performs Survivor Services team duties including community and professional training, volunteer training and supervision, intern supervision, team representations at meetings, hotline coverage, and scheduled on-call availability for backup emergency response. Duties are performed under direct supervision.



Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree, plus three years of professional social work experience. A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.



The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and a check of the Child Protective Services Registry to the satisfaction of the employer.



Master's degree in a field related to counseling or master's in social work, licensure in a counseling profession, specialized training in treating trauma, and the ability to speak Spanish or another second language fluently.

Experience in counseling or a related field is acceptable in place of social work experience.

This is a grant funded position. It is anticipated that funding will be renewed on an annual basis.
