Provides support to the Countywide Service Integration and Planning Management Division. Works as a team member to coordinate and ensure coverage for the major priorities of the business units for the efficient operation of the division. Uses desktop publishing, spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics software to design publications, develop reports and presentations, and create charts and graphics to support projects and initiatives. Writes and updates narratives and prepares statistical tables. Edits, proofs and ensures grammatical and technical accuracy in publications. Designs, creates and updates Web pages. Ensures that publications follow Office of Public Affairs' standards and include all required elements. Provides support to primary and secondary data collection projects. Collects, analyzes, edits, and cleans data to ensure data integrity. Researches and responds to information requests. Works with information in various database formats. Manages processes for advertising, interviewing and filling job openings. Coordinates meeting scheduling, room scheduling, distribution lists, and catering. Updates agendas, Web pages, public meetings, and calendars. Orders supplies and equipment, etc. Prepares materials for meetings and directly support long-term projects and initiatives. Duties are performed under direction.



Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to graduation from high school; plus three years of experience providing administrative support.



Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support for staff working with multiple project teams with competing and overlapping deadlines. Advanced experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite computer software, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher. Must have skills in producing and editing narratives, researching information and editing data for accuracy. Outstanding customer service skills are essential. Knowledge of and experience performing basic statistical calculations (means, medians, and percent changes).
