Woodburn Center for Community Mental Health.
Serves seriously mentally ill adults with a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including co-occurring with addictions and/or intellectual disabilities, developmental and/or other physical illnesses. Member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Functions as primary case manager/therapist performing a comprehensive array of professional treatment services for the acute adult mental health population at the Woodburn Center for Community Mental Health. Manages a case load that represents diagnostic, cultural, and socio-economic diversity. Job requires at least one evening per week.



Graduation from an accredited college with at least a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, nursing (or, for certain positions providing services to children and adolescents, a bachelor's degree in special education) plus two years of clinical experience or graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or counseling plus one year of clinical experience. Clinical experience means providing direct clinical services to individuals with mental illness and includes supervised internships, practicums, and field experience. Additional education may not substitute for clinical experience.



The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, an Officer of the Inspector General (OIG), and a check of the Child Protective Services Registry to the satisfaction of the employer. Must be eligible for QMHP and QMHCM Certifications under Medicaid.



Fluency in a foreign language a plus. Ability to perform assessments. Ability to work with consumers in the community utilizing their natural supports. Strong case management skills. Knowledge of CSB, county and community resources. Adherence to the Recovery Model. Co-occurring disorder assessment/treatment skills. Individual and group treatment skills that include evidence-based, cognitive orientations. Computer literate, and culturally competent.
