Description:

Join our team and provide early intervention services with a leader in services to infants and toddlers. The Infant and Toddler Connection of Fairfax-Falls Church desires to expand its team of dedicated professionals providing home-based services to infants, toddlers, and their families. We are seeking an infant educator to provide developmental services to the families in our community. Be a part of our vision by providing exceptional service to ensure that all infants and toddlers with a developmental need are identified, supported, accepted, included and valued in their family and community. Eligibility for Virginia Licensure by the Board of Education is required. The following licensure categories will be considered; licensure with an endorsement in Special Education (birth-5), licensure with endorsement in Early/Primary Education (PreK-3) or NK-4 or elementary education (PreK-6), licensure with endorsement in Career and Technical Education-Family and Consumer Sciences, licensure with endorsement in Special Education- Hearing Impairments, or licensure with endorsement in Special Education-Vision Impairments. Certification by Virginia as an Early Intervention Professional will need to be completed prior to the start of work. Excellent benefits package. Minimum
Qualifications:

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.

 

Special
Requirements:

All employment offers are contingent upon the completion of a criminal background check, an Office of the Inspector General (OIG) check and a check of the Child Protective Services Registry to the satisfaction of the employer. Requires a valid driver's license.

 

Preferred
Qualifications:

Experience with Part C programs and/or working with infants and families.
