We have identified obstacles LDS customers are encountering in PLUS. Staff have created work arounds until the problems are fully resolved. Please review the PLUS Issues that Have Been Identified web page for more information.
Typical Wait Times
Due to continuing technical and staff workload issues with the Planning and Land Use System (PLUS), please refer to the following information to determine the various wait times and backlog.

Times vary but by mid-day a 40-minute queue should be expected. (Don’t hesitate to use the call back function - we’ll save your place in the queue!)

Plan Review and Inspections: 703-631-5101
If you are having difficulty scheduling your inspections through PLUS, visit the Known Issues web page for a possible resolution.
Walk-in Service:
Varies but can extend to a queue of 1.5 hours for permit support. The lines for the building and site engineers of the day are typically shorter.
Virtual Appointments:
Virtual Appointments with staff are being scheduled two days out.
