What is an eAudiobook?
eAudiobooks are digital books that you download and listen to on your computer or compatible portable device.

Where do they come from?
The library subscribes to OverDrive for eBooks and eAudiobooks as well as OneClickDigital for eAudiobooks and a smaller selection of eBooks.

What do I need?
You will need a Fairfax County Public Library card and password to use OverDrive.

To play Overdrive eAudiobook titles on a computer or to transfer to an mp3 player, you will need to download a free copy of OverDrive Media Console and either Windows Media Player or Apple iTunes.

To play Overdrive titles on a portable device (iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.), you will need to install the Overdrive Media Console mobile app.

Complete instructions and specifications are available on our OverDrive site  under Help.

Note: Before using OneClickDigital eAudiobooks the first time, please register for a OneClickDigital account first.

To play OneClickdigital titles on a computer or to transfer to an mp3 player, first download and install a free copy of OneClickDigital Media Manager and Apple iTunes (if transferring to an iPod).

To play OneClickdigital titles on a portable device (iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.), first install the OneClickDigital mobile app from your device's app store. In order to enter a user name and password in the app, create an account on the OneClickDigital web site first.

Complete instructions and specifications are available on our OneClickDigital site under Help.
