Indie Author Day will be celebrated at libraries across the nation on Saturday, October 13, including at the Fairfax County Public Library. Two branches will be celebrating the day with a varied lineup of authors. It's a chance to meet and talk with local authors, learn about their experiences in developing their craft and in getting published.
Pohick Regional Library's author visits will take place between 1-3 p.m. on Saturday while Patrick Henry Library will feature its author talks from 3-5 p.m. that afternoon. Authors will have books available for sale and signing.
Authors appearing at Pohick include: Kate Abbott, Britt Alan, John H. Matthews, Jeremy Strozer, Eleanor Akahloun, Gerard W. Gawalt, Charles Mills, Karl & Angela Robb, Sarak Ardestani, Lindsay C. Barry and Ian Rodgers.
Authors to appear at Patrick Henry include: Russell Ginns, Joyce C. Grand, Aimee Hix, Margaret Placentia Johnston, Donna Migliaccio and Martin Wilsey.
