The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) and the Teen Volunteer program at the City of Fairfax Regional Library have been suspended until further notice.
The City of Fairfax Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) promotes teen engagement in the public library and community. The board consists of teens ages 12-18 who meet monthly to plan and organize events. Current projects include a writing contest, Book Buddies and book discussions. The TAB has also helped in the selection of furniture and planning for a new teen space in the library. Please join us!
The City of Fairfax Regional Library offers a year-round Teen Volunteer Program. Typical volunteer tasks include picking up any stray books, and making sure shelves are neat and orderly. Interested teens must complete the Teen Volunteer Application. All teens are required to attend a Teen Volunteer Orientation at the branch prior to their first volunteer shift. The next orientation is Monday, April 22nd, 2019, at 7pm. Please contact the branch with any questions.
