New! Adult Summer Reading Program (Logs Due)

Adult Summer Reading Program

ADULTS CAN GET IN ON SUMMER READING FUN

Children shouldn't have all the fun... Adults like reading and receiving incentives, too! This year, Fairfax County Public Library is launching its first system-wide Adult Summer Reading Program for age 18 and up. The program runs June 13 - August 31, so start planning your summer reading list now and let your beach reads earn you extra incentives.

To participate:

  1. Starting on June 13, pick up reading logs from any Fairfax County Public Library branch or print one out online.
  2. Read or listen to four books of your choice. The fifth entry may be a book or one of the log's suggested activities.
  3. Bring up to two completed logs to any library branch by August 31 and receive incentives for each one.

All finishers will be eligible for a grand prize drawing at the conclusion of the summer reading program.

Don't forget to check out the library events calendar for more great summer activities. For more information and reading lists, visit the Adult Summer Reading Program web page and read about the program in the Fairfax County NewsCenter.
